The 2019 FARO 3D User Conference ended successfully in Shanghai on July 5. With the theme of "Building the Future with Digital Intelligence", this conference gathered experts and scholars in the industry to share and exchange practical experience. Mr. Chu and Mr. Cai of SAIYO Construction were also invited to visit the site in person. This forum will discuss the future of 3D digital technology in the Chinese market. Expansion and optimization, the establishment of two thematic sub-venues, BIM and digital factory, to explore the development of digitalization and the unlimited application possibilities of 3D scanning technology in the field from a pertinent perspective.

 
Nowadays, SAIYO Construction has widely used 3D scanning technology in the old computer room where the drawing information is lost. After scanning, the 3D model is built, and then combined with BIM modeling to apply it to the building operation and maintenance management system. It can also be used in ancient buildings and cultural relics. , 3D laser scanning is not only used to record appearance data, but also provides strong data support in deformation monitoring and damage analysis. The data captured by the three-dimensional data can realize the segmentation and slice analysis of the building column, relying on the accurate and reliable data obtained, avoiding the disassembly and reconstruction of the building, and preventing it from secondary damage.
